Not my photo

Here's my entry:

 Fire Fly

Flashing flicker,
Small and bright.
Eyes delight.
Splashing shine,
Radiant divine.
Glowing brilliance,
Happy shimmer.
Luminous twinkle.
Flying fast.
At night you dash,
Sending glimmers
To my eye.
Wondrous as lightning;
You make me smile.

Spring ponderings...

They smile and they sway,
going through a happy day,
I play and hum to the whistle
of the birds, and see the glory of the lovely sunny words,
on which the flowers are dancing with
the breeze. My feet glide freely and sway with the
buzzing of the bees and I feel that God has rapped
his hands around, every creature, every sound,
making every sight renowned. The small timid buds
and bold bursting blooms. Here looms the wonder of our God.
His artistic creation, He shares with us always, till the end,
And He pens every picture,
with His awesome powerful hands.

The season of Spring is such an inspiration to many types of artists and people all around.
Can't you just see God in every flower bloom you touch?

And as I said before, I might.... will be quite busy, especially since this is Easter week. But I will try my best to post my give away tomorrow. :) There are six April birthdays in our family including the cat's. So, I will have some busy days in April. Sorry for such a indecisive plan. :)

I hope you are having a peaceful day!

A Poem

The Depressions Triumph Revealed

When times seemed so weary, dreary, and old.
With meals stretched tight and clothing darned right.
Much was gone and much was longed.
Not a cent was poorly used.

As times seemed to linger, something was not gone.

That family rarely seen today,
No it never did decay.
Friendships strong and families were fond.
We see the people, and their solid bond.
They glued their faith and troubles to the ones that they held dear.
We always need a person near, to hear our troubles and our fears.
But there is someone stronger than family, friend or foe.
That faith so much used, is founded on our hope and defender,
the Lord Almighty, Jesus Christ.

Here is a poem I made for a school assignment. We had to write a poem about a something in history.
