Look at the blessings in your problems, look how God provided!

1.Your car breaks down 2 miles away from home. There is nothing but trees and an open road around. Your cell phone is dead and your only choice is to walk.

Be thankful that you have an able body that will allow you to walk home. You have a stroller in the back of the car, be thankful you don't have to let the little ones walk the whole way. Be thankful that you actually had a car in the first place. Maybe you'd being walking two miles every time you went some where any way.

2.You cleaned your home especially for company. But, an hour before they're supposed to arrive, they call saying they got the flu.

Be thankful you have a sparkling clean house and a peaceful evening planned just with your family. Be thankful you don't have the flu, after all it is a lot worse not being able to go to a friend's house, and being sick!

3.The last of the cookies your Grandma made are all gone.

Be thankful that your Grandma was kind enough to make them in the first place.

Be thankful that your house is fixable and it did not burn to the ground. Be thankful that no one was hurt and that you were home and that no further damage was done.

5.After a month with a new oven, it breaks down and it can't be fixed for a whole week.

Be thankful for take out, left overs, micro waves, and toasters. You still have a chance for easy meals with out a oven. Be thankful that your stove has a warranty.

6.Your camera malfunctions and deletes all the photos from your vacation.

Be thankful that you kept a vacation journal and are still able to remember and picture the memories in your mind. You bought a souvenir, and bought a photo from the museum, of your whole family by the biggest dinosaur there.

7. You have been saving up for a certain product for months. When you finally have enough money to purchase it, you find that it is sold out.

  1. Be thankful that you've learned discipline by saving, and that you have money saved for whatever else may come along! (and be thankful for the internet and sites like craiglist and ebay where perhaps you could find the item you were hoping to buy!) Fun post! There is something to thank God for in everything, even the darkest times or circumstances.

  2. Maybe you get it later and realize it's not really that great and you don't use it often. Plus you would have enough money to buy something else. Great post!

  3. Be thankful for the extra $$ in your pocket that you could purchase something else or give to a charitable cause.

  4. That is a nice post. I have another thing. (Because I just got more brackets put on my teeth)

-Your mouth really hurts from braces and you have to eat soft foods.

Be thankful that You have braces to make your teeth straighter. Be thankful that there is a variety of soft foods in your pantry.
