Then the next morning we did our school and went out once again. It had started raining freezing rain before we went out and there was a thick layer of ice on top of the snow. Crunching it was so much fun... We experimented by putting maple syrup on the ice and eating it. And we even tried chocolate syrup! Some of the roads were closed and almost all the roads are iced over and slippery. Most schools are out, too. (Not ours!)
We've been enjoying our snow and we got a total of six and a quarter inches of snow! We've been very thankful for our warm cozy home.
Our neighbor's tree...
Our car....
My brothers' toy helped clear the ice. :-)
I hope your having a lovely day!!!
How's the weather at your house?
Wow, that snow is gorgeous!! We just got some snow recently, which is rare for Texas... so we were sure to enjoy it while it lasted! ;)

Oh I enjoyed these pictures, I always find photos of snow fascinating (I've never see real snow). The weather here is exactly the opposite to yours at the moment - sunny and very hot! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful! It looks like so much fun! I don't think that we'll be getting any snow this year, (like always! ☺) but I am excited to see the joy that you have had during this season!
ReplyDeleteMany blessings,

Oh my, you certainly have a lot of snow!! It looks inviting...from my side of the computer. But as far as reality, I'm loving the 70* weather we're having....the shortsleeves, the warm sun, the budding trees...okay, I'll stop making you jealous. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great pics!
Love,
Rachel
