Made Alive With Christ

Colossians 2: 13-15
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

 What a beautiful passage.
This is an awing picture of what Christ has done for us.
We were dead in our sins and God made us alive in Christ.

I, for one, often take life for granted too often; but when I step back and see how dead I was,
it makes everything I've ever lived for fall to the shadows.
I see the light Christ illuminates, and I know He's is my true life and light.
All that I am looks so small compared to the greatness of our Savior.
What a precious life He has given us.
We need to live it well.

  1. What a beautiful passage indeed. When I think of all that Christ did for me, everything else seems to fade away. Thank you for that needed reminder. :)
