Camera musings...

Last year was the year I really tried to learn about my camera --our family's camera. I read many different photography books and even did a research paper. BetterPhoto Basics is my favorite photography book. It's helpful, informative, easy to read, and fun to read. I got it from the library and was very pleased. It has great information on camera modes, many inspiring example photos, and well, lots more.

I didn't know how much I didn't know about photography! I've experimented a lot and am hoping to expand my camera gear soon. I used to use just auto mode on my camera. From there I've learned how not to use my flash and have experimented with a few modes. I haven't plunged into manual mode yet though. Just reading my camera manual helped a lot too. One thing that I really try to add to my photos is light and clarity. Having that as my goal has really helped me take better photos.

Do you have any thing you'd like to share about photography? Any favorite books, camera tips, camera dilemmas, favorite camera brand?
