Ramblings from the Jumbled mind......

I hope you all are well! I am and so is Maggie. But now Abby's caught the bug! :( We really thought it was all over. But this morning she too, started throwing up. I really hope nobody else gets it. (Sigh) Sickness can be depressing. But, that's the way it goes and if I can't stand a little sickness I am pretty wimpy. I mean, there are so many people way less fortunate than I am with health problems. I should praise God for how little I get sick.

We have to make 200 napkin-holder-type-thingys for Friday. My mom volunteered to help with the "Daddy Daughter Dance" this Friday. :) And our job is to decorate and assemble the napkin and silverware sets. We have done less than a third of the assembly so far. But if we keep on working on it. It should not take too long. Hopefully nobody else will be sick by then. :)

I have finally been digging in to crocheting. So far I am not doing so well. All the crocheting DVDs and Books I have seen look nothing like what my crocheting turns out like. But, I am trying...
I have been working more on my doll lately, too. No where near done. But I am getting there. :)

I have also been working on a valentine project which I will hopefully have a tutorial tomorrow for it. :) Valentine's day is coming up! ♥

Are you doing any thing special for the fourteenth? :)

  1. I'm so glad that Maggie is doing better but I'm sorry to hear that Abby's got it now! :( I will pray that everyone is well by Friday! :)

Well, we don't usually do anything for Valentine's Day. It looks like this year we'll just be going to church! :D (Since the 14th is this Sunday.) I can't wait to see the tutorial for your project, though!!

    Blessings,

  2. Oh, I hope no one else gets sick, Leah! I know what you mean... whenever I get sick, it's always a great reminder to me of what a blessing my health is. It's definitely something I take for granted a lot.

I can't wait to see your Valentine's project! Plans for the fourteenth? We won't be doing too much. We'll just go to church and then come home and enjoy the afternoon, I guess. :)

    ~ Blessings to you,

  3. I got a book on crocheting from the library. It was hard to tell what they were saying to do. If you find a good DVD or book, let me know. I could just ask someone to show me, but I need something to reference because I can't remember stuff like that for very long. I'd forget by the time I got home until I got really good at it.
