Sunday ...

A bright and cheerful day for a change.

I have spent much of my time reading Stepping Heavenward by Elisabeth Prentiss.
It is a lovely book to read and very thought provoking on a sunny Sunday. :)

The Sun looks different in every picture I take of it. But each time it is photographed it's always just as beautiful. Kind of like God is. Each time we learn something new about Him, His character seems to improve making Him more and more amazing and awesome.

Today Maggie is sick and couldn't go to church. She has thrown up about five times today and last night. She has been sleeping and resting a lot, but She seems to be getting better little by little as the day has progressed. She got sick last night. But she is still in wonderful spirits.

The Super Bowl is also today! Are you rooting for a particular team? My Daddy is rooting for the Colts. It'll be on any minute!

(Sorry for my lack of posts. I have been quite busy this week but I am trying to get better! I have two awards to post about.)

Blessings on your Sunday!

  1. Beautiful photo, Leah!! I love taking pictures of the sky. :) I hope your sister feels better soon! Oh, and I'm not really rooting for a team in the Super Bowl. I'm not into football too much. Anyway.... I hope you've had a blessed Sunday! :)

Well, I WAS rooting for the Colts (they've always been my favorite team) but when we came home from church to watch the game I found out that everyone in my family was going for the Saints! lol So I changed my mind. (Can you do that?!) :D I'm glad I did, though... They played an awesome game! Anyway, I hope you have a blessed evening!

  3. Lindsay and Taylor,

I am not much into football. I usually root for whoever my Dad does. But The Saints had a great game!

Thanks for your sympathy! Maggie is feeling a lot better today than yesterday!
