In the midst of a storm
Through a storm and through a non-literal storm, things can shake and rumble and it seems that things are coming crashing down. At times I feel I am in a storm not knowing if I'll make it out. But, it's a constant reminder that not only is there blue sky behind those dark angry clouds, but a God behind us and keeping us steady. Through rough situations God has a plan for us. Blue skies are at the end of all the rain and thunder. Although fear might grip us we have the comfort of a strong shield.
Then Jesus got up and gave a command to the wind and the waves, and it became completely calm.
Matthew 8: 26

ReplyDeleteRain pelting...grey angry clouds scare me. But that sun (or should I say Son) still shines!!
I wrote this post in the midst of a thunder storm and decided to convey my feelings while I was feeling some what afraid.
ReplyDeleteGod is such a comfort, though. :-)
Blessings,
Leah
