1. I get to stay home and be a homemaker.
2. I get to be a help meet.
3. I can wear dresses and skirts.
4. I get doors held for me.
5. I can sew on my own accord for pleasure when I'm home all day.
6. I get to baby sit the whole day when I am a Mother.
7. I can be in charge of the cleaning, organizing and cooking at home.
8. I get to style my hair in a lot a styles.
9. I can play sports like a girl with out feeling wimpy.
10. I don't have to go to war.

Great list! I agree with all of those :) Another reason I'm glad to be a woman is to be able to have a "covering" in my husband when really hard decisions come up. Its a relief to me not to have to bear the complete burden of responsibility, but to be able to trust God to lead the head of our home!

ReplyDeleteI echo the responsibility reason too: Amen! I like that I can wear make-up (when time permits) and look like a princess. People give us more grace to cry. And the privilege to be pregnant-to walk around with a big belly and flaunt it. :-)

ReplyDeleteI love being a women. Because I get to stay home and care for my precious children. Being a keeper of the home is never boring and it's a job that's full of variety. I like this subject. Good post.
