Proverbs 17:22

Proverbs 17 : 22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

What do you think this verse means? When I look at it. It makes me think about how our attitude is very important especially when something is going wrong. If you are in the middle of a project and you are interrupted you might feel annoyed and bothered but if you face it with a cheerful attitude than things will go a lot more smoothly. This verse also seems to say that your attitude can change the attitude of everyone around you. If your attitude is cheerless and annoyed than everyone will join in with the mood and the whole group will be a mess. But if you add cheerful and encouraging words than every one will feel better.

What is your perception of this verse?

  1. You are right. That verse says a lot. Facing problems with a Happy heart is definitely better. If I am in a room with a lot of yelling and craziness going on then it makes me feel hectic inside. I guess that is kind of how it is. Good post.
