I happened to read this same Proverb the other day and thought, "There are some Christian homeschooling families that believe they can give salvation to their children, but this verse is a very clear indication that they cannot." The psalmist is speaking of the ungodly, but while Christian families work to have women remain home and school their children, raising them in the admonition of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must understand that salvation is a sovereign choice of our loving and just God not something one wretch can give to another wretch. Thanks for this verse pick.
